, do you really know for sure that Crestor caused your problems?

To the rest: just because you had problems with a statin does not make

it gospel, ok?

I've spoken with people who are on statins and in many cases, they have

had good results. Just spoke to someone who tried Lipitor and they love

it.

Keep in mind...what works for you might not work for someone else. All

medicines are not 100% safe, neither are medical procedures.

I left a support group because most of the women were talking about

their success with a certain procedure, but this one negative person

ruined it all, she was angry because it didn't work for her and got very

nasty with us. I came back when she was " dismissed " for foul language.

Ok, so you hate Lipitor. But keep in mind that it might work for

others. Nothing wrong with saying that it caused problems for you, but

please don't think that EVERYONE is in agreement with you.

Excuse me, but I'm not a rocket scientist, yet I got good sense and know

what this group is all about, so don't try to be insulting.

Opinions are like anuses, I have one, hope you do, too.

Sometimes it may not be the lipitor or other statin that causes a

problem. My father is on so many medicines that I go with him to each

doctor, making sure they know what he's taking.

I came in here to see what was the reason behind the hate of Lipitor,

but if one is taking it and hating it, something's wrong.

Could the person who is taking Lipitor and having problems on some other

medication? As you know, some medicines don't mix.

I'm not going to stay here long...just checking to see what's going on

and unsubscribing. Take care and make sure the REAL culprit of your

problems is revealed...it may not be the Lipitor.

By the way, in case you want to " go there " , I do not work for Pfizer. I

don't know that much about Lipitor...but love those commercials.

I will do some research on these statins myself instead of depending on

the information from " non-medical " people.

Hello,

I am new here, and have been lurking. I am on Lipitor also and am having the muscle aches and neuropathy in my legs. I think we should sue them for the damage they are doing to millions of people!!! Just my thought.

Terri

Crestor did not kill me, but it did give meexcruciating sciatica and 15 months later I still havehardly any Achilles reflex action and my left foot isstill somewhat numb.

Same here, neuropathy so bad I never stop hurting ....Crestor and then Pravachal did me in . Les
