My husband was diagnosed with PD in '94 and it wasn't long after that I

noticed what you call 'showtime.' The Movement Disorder Specialist told me

that

is not uncommon and that it is called the adrenalin effect. It is not 'put

on' or make believe. There is a physiological component to this and it is not a

psychological problem. At least that is what the distinguished doctor said.
