Hi Everyone,

Some of you may remember I posted a while back about a Dr who didn't say she could cure me but said I didn;t have to live like this. She gives injections, which you go to her for everyday, wants you to give up all other meds and supplements and follow her diet. One of the things she insists is that you have sunflower seed oil - any comments on this? She wants me to stop taking the fish oil and flaxseed oil.

The other thing is that she is very negative about my lifestyle - as in I work full time and go on holidays. She says that people give up everything to get well. I am the only patient she has had who is still very able, all the patients she has had who have 'changed their life' were in wheelchairs and/or bedridden. She seems to find the fact that I will not be able to 'surrender' to her difficult. She wants me to stop the exercise I do - a mixture of yoga, weights, stretches, using a treadmill - and do only her exercises; which she has a room set up for at her practice so again you are supposed to go to her. I am finding it all very confusing. I want to be well - I don't want to get worse - , and have changed my diet, take supplements, read all I can, varied my working hours so I don't push to hard, but I also want to live and enjoy my life and be as productive and busy as I can. I could give up work, never go on another holiday, and get hit by a car.

Thanks
