Guest guest
Hi Ed You seem a bit of an expert on mercury removal so perhaps you could give me your opinion. 3 months after loosing a mercury filling (ie swallowing it) I had a bad attack of optic neuritis (the first). This led to an MRI and subsequent MS diagnosis - I also had a history of "numb arm" going back 6 years ago but not much else. Since the lost filling episode I have also suffered poor bladder control. The filling was replaced (twice due to problems so lots of unprotected drilling etc) by another mecury one making a total of 3 little ones in my mouth. Do you think it is possible that I am sensitive to mercury and that this could be a cause of my problems - 3 little fillings don't seem very many to me and perhaps not worth making a fuss over (although I always used to be a terrible night-time tooth-grinder!). Could the lost filling/optic neuritis be linked or are they too far apart to be relevant. Would a reaction to the high level of mercury in my system have been evident much sooner? Any thoughts would be really useful and goodluck with the continuing amalgam removal! Thanks - Dawn
