Guest guest
from Dale, Mom to Katy, CVID, age 15 , I think you were asking about Rice milk. We use Rice Dream. Katy prefers the Original and we get the enriched so that she gets some calcium and vitamins just like she would from milk. I like it better than soy because it cooks well -- we use it in all our recipes just like milk. There's also Mocha Mix ice cream that tastes just like ice cream and Reddi Whip has come out with canned whipped cream that is mostly lactose free. Katy tolerates it okay. My thighs and arms are so sore from pushing 's wheelchair. He's a big man - 290 pounds. The doctor agreed to check his quantitative IgG at my request. We also did a fasting blood sugar. His leg looks better but is still painful and swollen after 13 days of antibiotics. We'll continue antibiotics until next Wednesday and see the doctor again. has just been accepted at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. (His #1 college pick). So we're celebrating. I didn't realize how eager I was to hear that news. When you decide to homeschool, you worry until that college acceptance comes! Katy's doing well. Recuperating from the trip nicely and beginning to get some energy back. Bye Bye Birdie auditions are a week away. Best wishes for a happy new year to all! Autumn, what's the news? I'm praying that relief will come soon. In His service, Dale
