Guest guest
Happy Birthday !!! I have been on so many meds, all script(pain, muscle relaxers, anti-seizure, anti-inflammatory, anti-depressants, sleeping meds....and the list goes on). Hydrocodone is one that I am on now. All of the meds will only take off the extreme edge of the pain for me, not all or even most. I also have two different strengths of this med, both have the same result. This is my results of these meds. Hope you have better luck! Heidi wrote: Ok the doctor put me on Hydrocodone, Lyrica, and mobic. Has anyone else taken these and how did it do for you? I was on just tramadol and a muscle relaxer. I needed something more for the back pain and sciatic. She is really concern about my neck cause when the chiro did xrays on it there were concerns. I am not sure of what. So, I have MRI in a week. It will be on neck and another on my low back. I hope all will have a great day. Today is my birthday so friends are takig me out. So, I hope I can feel pretty good for that. To read these messages on the Hugs web site go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Hugs-N-Pain you can contact me privately at starlyin@... Guest guest
Darcy, Thank you for the imput. I am starting to wonder about the lyrica. I did not get but a couple of weeks on each med so I make sure if it will work or not. The lyrica I am not sre about. I feel like it might make me hurt worst. I will keep you all posted on this. Guest guest
Hi , Wishing you a Happy Birthday! I think Hydrocodone is the generic of lortab, and that is what I take. What dose are you on? I take 7.5mg, 4X a day. It does help out quite a bit. I did try the Mobic before, and it made me sick at my stomach. I hope you have better luck on it. You take care, and hope your meds help, Tawny > > Ok the doctor put me on Hydrocodone, Lyrica, and mobic. Has anyone > else taken these and how did it do for you? Guest guest
Tawny, It has 5/500 on the strength. I am suppose to take every 4 to 6 hours. It makes me dope up some. I am wondering about the Mobic. It just does not agree with mine either. I am taking a prescribed anti acid pill. Let me know how you felt at the begining taking the pain med. Thanks tdianaok wrote: Hi , Wishing you a Happy Birthday! I think Hydrocodone is the generic of lortab, and that is what I take. What dose are you on? I take 7.5mg, 4X a day. Guest guest
The lyrica seems to work for an hour, but then it wants to hurt worst when it is out of system. I am wondering about not taking it. Guest guest
Hi , When I first started the hydrocodone I felt really loopy. It took awhile to get use to it. It got better for me, and it does calm my pain down. I don't know what I would do without it, probably be in bed. Good luck, Tawny > > > > Ok the doctor put me on Hydrocodone, Lyrica, and mobic. Guest guest
, Happy Belated Birthday!!! I hope the MRI results turn out ok!!! Hang in there and keep us up to date on what the doctor's say! Gentle hugs, Debi -- I am on new meds Ok the doctor put me on Hydrocodone, Lyrica, and mobic. Has anyone else taken these and how did it do for you? I was on just tramadol and a muscle relaxer. Guest guest
, Not sure how long you have been on the new meds but it took me 3-4 weeks to start noticing a difference with the Lyrica! It took that long to get used to the meds too! Try and stick it out if you can...if not tell your doctor you don't think it is helping! I do hope you find the right meds for you. Gentle hugs, Debi -- Re: Re: I am on new meds The lyrica seems to work for an hour, but then it wants to hurt worst when it is out of system. I am wondering about not taking it.
