Re: I survived WTO!!!

Hi all,

Remember me? I have been working all week long and have not been able to

read my emails until now. Geez you guys send a lot back and forth but I love

it. It will take me weeks to get caught up so if anyone wants to update me

on what's going on I would appreciate it.

I spent the last week standing on my feet in driving rain, howling winds

and freezing temperatures. I was not fed for 12 to 15 hours most days and

did not receive water during that time also. We were allowed to " rest " for 4

to 5 hours every day then go back to standing on our feet again. The gear I

had to wear weighed over 35 pounds and my back gave out around Wednesday. My

feet were so swollen last night that I had to have help getting my boots off.

We were spat on, had rocks, bottles and golf balls hurled at us while all

the while stood fast and did not retaliate. Downtown Seattle is in shambles

and there are still protesters out there even though the WTO is over and the

delegates have left town. We arrested over 400 of them after they smashed

windows and looted our fair city. Now they are blocking roads and have

surrounded the jail demanding the release of their fellow protesters.

I am utterly exhausted and am looking forward to getting some much needed

rest. If you want to know more email me. The news media is not giving you

the truth. I was there.

Yeah girl. Fill us in. I may be a nice peaceful person but I have this thing

against tree huggers...no offense, but I hate the ones that get all into

violence. I'm a conservative peaceful protester when it comes to stuff I

believe in. I hate the media too...it's so liberally biased it's not funny. I

know that from first hand knowledge too.

Personally, I don't know what all the ranting and raving is about.
