Guest guest
Sounds like we might be about the same age. I'm 58 and live in S. Florida. I have RSD, which I'm being helped by a anesthesiologist/pain doctor. I've been going to him for almost a year. He's pretty much in the know about RSD. I know he has patients driving at least 4-5 hrs. one way to see him once a month. We've had a pretty mild winter here so far. It's supposed to go down this weekend. I don't know whether his treatment will continue to help me through a long cold season. I'm not too sure if I'm not developing a tolerance to the meds, but I'm sure this weather is going to soon put it to to the test within the next couple of weeks. Tonight I saw a new pain method being used to let pain patients actually see the brain waves that are created in your brain when you have pain. The theory is that if can actually see the pain's reaction in your brain, you can then deliberately do something to combat the pain messages being triggered in your brain. Wonder if that's something RSD patients can use. Well, welcome. Nice bunch of people here. Take care and many pain free days!
