Hi Stan, I just wanted to post an update on my 30 month old son

. He is on day 13 of Valtrex. (He takes MB12 shots every three

days) During the first few days we saw a noticeable increase in

speech and eye contact. During the end of week one we saw him become

more sound sensitive with increased sensory integration issues and

climbing, spinning etc.He started making more sounds and babbling and

has started saying at least a new word each day. He has had the fine

rash that has moved down his body. The rash has seemed to have

cleared up on his upper chest, but now blotches have appeared on his

legs and lower torso. Yesterday he started with the diarrhea and

some fecal play. He has been interacting with his brother (who is

also affected by autism but is higher functioning) and they spent the

day chasing eachother through the house laughing and playing. He

imitated Logan's language by copying his sounds several times today.

His eye contact is amazing. He was even testing me by taking the

phone(which he is not supposed to play with), dialing it and running

with like a football down the hall laughing! Unbelievable! I am so

excited. My house was once so silent. It is now loud and I love

it!!!! has not had a high fever or any illness (other than a

slight runny nose and teary eyes)with this yet. It seems like

is having a similar response to other Valtrex responders and I was

curious what may come next. I am so thankful that you shared with us

at the Long Beach DAN! conference. I had never heard of Valtrex

therapy prior to that conference. You have helped our family so

much. I'll give you another update next week.- Hopefully with more

of the same news.
