Question about video copies & VF

I just posted about doing Pyramid Lower Body. I got this & PUB from a VF trade. I'm not sure if I have been naive but I didn't realize I was being sent copies of the workouts until I got them and then I wasn't sure what to do. This was the first time I've viewed either of them (they're both on one DVD-R) and the quality was a little grainy but not terrible and the person who copied them didn't include the premixes or Cathe's intro (which I saw online when I watched clips of these last night otherwise I wouldn't have known she had anything to say before the workouts start). I've seen verbiage from people trading things (and I think this had similar wording) that the workout did not have "original artwork" and would be sent in a plastic sleeve (like this was) or it would be in a plain DVD case. Is that shorthand for "this is a copy?"
