Guest guest
Today I ran my usual 5 mile route through Mt. Tabor, but I reversed the route so that it was more uphill than downhill since my race coming up has some hills in it. I did fine! Knee and hip are strained just a teensy so I'm doing Body Balance or some kind of yoga, maybe Blissology, tonite. I ran with a blind date on busy streets, and he was a little slower than me which was good, I was able to talk and run at the same time. He hadn't ran in 2 weeks so was a little winded. Me I have no problem with the cardio, it's the knee and hip that give me issues. Not sure if it was a love connection but he was quite attractive and seems nice, I'd definitely see him again if he asked me. We gave each other a hug hello and goodbye and he felt NICE. You can tell he lifts weights. Here is my latest progress pic. I still have 40 lbs to lose but I'm slowly getting there.

Guest guest
Thank you Donna! I'm really hoping that with increased running that this fat will melt off. I'm trying to have more protein shakes to help me feel full and keep me from fattening food. It's hard being a foodie - BUT I SHALL OVERCOME! Hugs Hi !Glad you had a nice date! Guest guest
riverside runners on FB lists events but i think they post more in the store. they are within walking distance so i should talk with them about some good first timer stuff and what they recommend for my level. once dh and i handle some other business i wanted to see if they had my brooks ghost 3 in another color. i want to get a 2nd pair when i get the funds. i was thinking the same thing about shirts!! LOL. between campus freebies and races i might need a new closet i good thing our 3 goodwills sells great jeans cheap. i need some bottoms to go with them. i just started fixing my schedule to run 3x a week. one of those runs a short easy one and the others 4 miles and build on to those every week. i only have 17 more days of my S90 rotation (only doing 40 out of 90 wow can't believe it!!!!) so that will lighten up the schedule a bit as well. after may 1st i am going to start plotting street courses since I will have to get used to that. but i just love the trails, you get to run into nature every now and then with deer and squirrels. its like they are your own sideline fans LOL. i will bookmark that link, and also mapmyrun.com whatever pic you like better is totally cool with me. i am proud of both of them. maybe do a side by side of both of our ab progress.KASSIAwife,mother,student,kettlebellehttp://ldysolana.blogspot.com---
