Valtrex and High Dose Vit A?

Hi Listmates,

We are on day 6 of Valtrex. We haven't seen any bad effects yet. No

rashes, no regression...:-( However, we are seeing some mild gains in

cognition and social skills. I cannot be absolutely sure that these

gains are from Valtrex as we are also adminstering IV glutathione once

a week for the past 3 weeks. So, it could be that the gains are from

either of the 2 interventions, or the combination of both.

We are contemplating on doing Mega dosing of Vit A (for measles) in the

month of April. Reason? Our son regressed after MMR. My question to you

is: Has anyone done BOTH - Valtrex and Mega dose Vit A at the same

time? Does it make sense to do both or will it be redundant?

We have done the Vit A mega dosing once with no gains but maybe we'll

have better luck if we do it along with Valtrex?? Your thoughts on this

matter will be greatly appreciated!

There are some listmates here who have done a 2 day megadose Vitamin A therapy

and

have seen posative results, but I don't think we have had one that has tried

once and then

again on Valtrex and has seen a better result from the Valtrex. We'll see if

anyone

responds.
