I used the Yoga Matrix to come up with something somewhat restorative because of wonky knee and fussy hip from running yesterday. I feel so much better! I was joined by the Kitty Committee - the seniormost member of which powernapped throughout, juniormost member was very sweet and gave me snuggles and kisses along the way. The pratice was 62 minutes long:lunar meditation, 5 minutes: very nice. You sit in a half lotus and shower yourself with blessings with your hands, do some nostril breathing praniyama, and seated mudra water vinyasa, 20 minutes: lots of folding wide angle, reverse warriors, side angles, and a stretch that Dr. No wanted me to do for Wonky Knee - so I very much appreciated this stretch was in here. shanti vinyasa, 20 minutes: lots of much needed hip openers, including pigeon. Boy am I tight here! There were some hamstring stretches toocore: 7 minutes: not that hard forward bends, 5 minutes: head to knee pose, seated wide angle forward bend, again, much neededshavasana, 5 minutes: lovely, as is Shiva Rea!
