Guest guest
Hi , There are a few on here with early onset LBD, one of them is a lady named, Patti. She comes on here from time to time to tell us of her experiences and what she is going through or just to ask questions. You may be able to identify with her situation. Next time you see her name, you may want to ask her some questions. What you describe as seeing with your husband is very much like my husband in the beginning. It is very confusing and frustrating, because you start to think that maybe you are seeing things wrong, but you are not. Our LOs(Loved Ones) can be lucid for long periods of time and it is misleading, because it gives you false hope that maybe everything is going to be ok and that it's not so bad. Even friends and relatives that are not around daily may think that everything is ok with your husband. One of the first things my husband lost was the ability to dial a phone, but as you say, he could do other things. He was still driving at the time. The stooped posture is common. You will start to notice more changes over time. My husband is very stubborn most of the time and uncooperative. He gets a mean side to him also. Somedays he's charming and other days, it's hell to pay with him. I am glad that you found this group, because as time goes on you will need these people more and more to see you through each day.
