Guest guest
Hi, first time poster, so be gentle with me...I went to the 20 June detoxing children safely conference, whilst Mrs t2000uk stayed at home with our 5yr old ASD daughter. We promised ourselves that we'd start an Cutler detox protocol as soon as the holidays started. And so on Friday at 7am we began a 72hr round of detoxing. It's gone very well and we've got one calm more engaged girl. The details are: Chelator = 5mg ALA every 3 hours during the day and 4 hours at night (7am, 10am, 1pm, 4pm, 7pm, 11pm, 3am). She is approx 20kg, so this is 0.25mg per kilo. Questions = Should we stay at 5mg per dose of ALA for a while, or increase the dose, seeing as she's done so well on it? Does doing well in round one mean she's likely to continue to do well – or will there be a dip on the way? We could probably manage a bit more than 72hrs per round during the holidays – is that a good idea? And any advice on the poo (our main problem has been some vile nappies)?? – she's on biotin and GSE and has a daily sachet of VSL.
