Started this morning with 20 minutes of Gold's Gym Cardio Dance! For class today it was a mix of heavy/light weight training. Routine went...

Squats 2x6@15lb dumbbells, 1x12@10

Lunges 2x10@20lb " , 1x12@12

Pullups 2x7@ 70lb assistance, 1x3@50

Seated Row Machine 2x10@70lb, 1x5@90

Pushups 5 sets 12,14,11,11,16

Rope Pressdowns 2x12@50, 1x6@70

Bicep cable curls 2x10@50,1x3@70

Shoulder Press 2x12@10 dumbbells, 1x6@15

Back Ext. Machine 2x12@50,1x10@70

Standing Ab Twists 2x20@12lb med ball.

Earlier

in the evening I ran my first 5K for an event at my college. It was super tough!! The route they picked had us running up hill and through fields and wooded areas. I completed it though in 38 minutes. I plan on pursuing other run events, but I should train more. This was a great lesson for a good cause. Finished off the evening with Yoga Complete for Everybody's

Hip Mobility practice for a great stretch for hips and lower body focus. This is a very good dvd with several workouts (albeit repeated segments in the workouts). The workouts use props to focus on form and stretch.

Off to sleep for it is math tomorrow!
