What is the purpose of putting KT or pureed scoby on your face? Is it for

people with acne, to draw out the toxins?

I have dry skin, so how would it effect my skin? I would imagine it would

dry it out much more.

Thanks in advance,

I just posted a long response under the subject " Skin treatment " , but Yahoo

is acting weird and not delivering mail well. I may repost it if it

doesn't show up in my mailbox since it appears others may not have received

it either. Meanwhile, it is visible on the group website (link at bottom

of email).

The KT cream used as a mask seems to remove the dead skin cells which

renews the skin. Much cheaper than the expensive cosmetics formulated to

do this. The use of the liquid KT can be for acne, for rashes, or just

general toning/balancing.

I'm not so convinced, but I do know that the suggestion of coconut oil is a

good one. But as far as KT goes, it balances whatever issues we

have. People use it who have eczema, and that seems like some pretty dry skin.

I don't use it every day on my face, but I know some people do. If you are

interested to know what KT might do with your skin, perhaps try some on

your forearm or the back of your hand and carefully observe? Only by

closely observing your own responses will you know, and that goes for any

external application. Each is responsible for close observation of the

condition to determine if it's helping and if so, what the proper type,

frequency, and length of treatment might be.

I am drinking KT now for 1 1/2 weeks.

My skin used to be very dry, especially after a sunny day, a shower, or a

bath. A few days ago I noticed that I didn't need to use a moisturiser after

having a shower. Today we had a really warm day with lots of sun and wind. I

was out in the garden all day in shorts and tank-top. After that I took a

really hot shower. And the skin on my legs and arms and face was doing just

fine with that :-)
