Guest guest
I've been listening to R44 all week long on my iPod and at some point or another just about every song has gotten stuck in my head! This evening I watched the dvd again and did the workout straight through, no breaks, every single section. I really like this one a lot, it's the best one to come out since R40 in my opinion! My favorite section is section 4, part b. I liked working it at 12 and 6 for a change. I'm also quite fond of the recovery, and of course what makes it even better is that it's taught by Duane <swoon>. I took out the pump-it back and did a knee, front kick x2 instead. I took out all the running mans in this round and replaced them with jacks or kicks as well. I need to go low impact and save that for running, so I replaced all the ski's with 1,2,3 front kick or single front kicks. Finesse was easy to learn and effectively gets the heart rate down at a gradual pace. The legs - OW OW OW! Those " monster " abs - OMG they didn't seem so hard at the the start but after the third time too I was really feeling it. This Monster song goes on and on and on! Turbo Kick abs are my favorite of any format / workout video I do. They never ever fail to deliver! I've been impressed with all the cooldown music in 40's. i used a yoga strap and foam roller to smash out shins and IT bands, as I have three 10K's coming up between now and mid-May.I look forward to doing this round during the next month or so! R45 was filmed I think just a few days ago I think, and I got notice that I'll be getting the new Hip Hop Hustle soon. YAY! Anyway, if you're not on VIP/autoship and pick and choose the rounds you buy, this is one you will want to pick up. It really grows on you the more you do and listen to it. Guest guest
Ok, I still haven't done this round yet, but today is the day! I've done portions of it, just not the whole thing from start to finish. I did the abs section in my TK class on thursday and they were tough! I looked out and many people were just laying there! lol LOVE that song! :)I also tried the finesse and the legs portions... those are good too. I don't like the "ski's", so thanks for giving me your suggestions on what you do for those instead. Let me rephrase that... I like ski's, just pee on myself when I do them, so I choose to not do them! LOL I usually keep it a march 3/knee,but I may add a kick.I can't wait to try this out!!! YAY! Oh and I've been listening to the music a lot too and I LOVE all of it! It is one of the best music rounds in a long time! :)TeenaSubject: Did Round 44 for the 2nd time all the way through and I love it!To: TURBOKICKFANATICS , exercisevideos Date: Friday, March 25, 2011, 11:28 PM I've been listening to R44 all week long on my iPod and at some point or another just about every song has gotten stuck in my head! Guest guest
Can't to hear what you think of it, Teena! I like to take out any dancy / girly moves and add kicks or jacks whenever I can to keep it more boxing like, plus I just love kicks, they make me feel powerful Back it up like Tonka truck!
