Guest guest
Just Think for a minute.... The best way to predict the Future is to look at the Past.... particularly in Politics. FACT: There is No Money to fund such an initiative. We can barely keep our financial heads above water in many states. They can't get Homeland Security straight. So it will likely go the way of all these things the Gov. tries to initiate.....Nowhere fast, if at all, as usual. ... and Someone always gets Exempt if they have the right connections. I hope we manage to weather the Storm brewing already over anticipated wide-scale Election Fraud. Both parties have "teams" of attorneys ready to jump in with their guns blazing, according to a tv show I saw last night. --Terry RE: Fwd. Removing Children from Home I know this will get kicked off the list very soon AND I shouldn’t reply but it makes me so angry. This is drug company money backing this- I can’t believe what a sin and a shame and crime this is not only against children but the country as a whole. It leaves me feeling sick and wanting to leave the country and live elsewhere. And for the record, since this makes me so upset, I feel I should say too that I did not vote for this man. -----Original Message-----From: bbarbara2002 >Illinois first to publicly jump on Bush's mental health bandwagon>"This program will not be voluntary... Guest guest
>FACT: There is No Money to fund such an initiative *It doesn't need funding*. It is an " unfunded mandate " , just like " No Child Left Behind " . The states, already nearly bankrupt due to our " booming economy " , are forced to raise taxes to fund that or else lose the money they are already getting. Just great: Lower our taxes by forcing someone *else* to raise our taxes under threat. We will be coerced into funding it indirectly. Our children--even the homeschooled--will be forced to be tested for phantom mental diseases based on whichever new drug the drug industry wants to sell. And the parents will be forced to fund the new measures by paying money they don't have for drugs their children don't need, under threat of the state taking their children away from them if they don't. The drug companies can do the testing " for free " knowing they will more than make up the difference when they force us to pay through the nose for their drugs--or else. If a Democrat had tried to do this they would have been (correctly) branded Communist. But since Bush is doing it and having Republicans sponsor it, he expects all of We the Sheeple to just fall into line and continue to vote for him no matter what he pulls. Guest guest
True Tom. But funny thing about Mandates.... Ohio has been mandated to restructure how schools are funded by the Court, but they have yet to do it. And they were mandated to non-segregate schools, but that never worked out... so Busing was repealed. Cleveland has cut back on all of their busing because they can no longer afford it. These things get dragged around for Decades if the money and "political will" is missing.... "No Child Left Behind" is falling apart at the seams, so Who will pay for all the kids who don't have any Health Insurance any more? Right now we have kids committing Suicide on Zoloft, if they haven't gone the Violent route yet. And Ritalin is sold to other kids on the playground..... Let alone the other horror stories of misdiagnosed mental disease and drug therapy backfires. Then we have the Grey Panthers crossing the Border for their drugs and saying, "Please put me in jail, and You pay for my drugs...." With headlines such as these, it will be a hard sell. Illinois must be an easy state to get junk passed through without much of a Fight. They want to see how it will fly before they push hard and ugly everywhere else. Gee, if they test and drug all of the wackos in Washington DC First, that alone would bankrupt the country....... and be the End of it. Guns AND Butter is something no one can fund now. We have an Election and Hurricane Season to survive first, so important things are never mentioned lest someone get Offended and not Vote, but then we have the Electoral College or Supreme Court to buy off for that eventuality..... Pray it goes the way of the Universal Smallpox Vaccine we were all scheduled for. --Terry PS: Today Ohio just lifted the 70+ yr. old Laws prohibiting hard Sunday Liquor Sales.... I guess we all need immediate access to Sedation even if we go to Church..... Re: Fwd. Removing Children...OT >FACT: There is No Money to fund such an initiative*It doesn't need funding*.
