Guest guest
If we had it in Orlando, this would be my tentative itinerary: Friday: Arrival and Check-in Meet and Greet at hotel in the evening Saturday: Choice of either: Theme park of group's choice OR pool day Group dinner Sunday: Quiet morning, and church for those who want to Afternoon: Tentative BBQ, or maybe a picnic where we each bring a bag lunch. Monday: Check out, drive to S. Florida (approx. 3 1/2 hrs) Check into beachside hotel and spend the afternoon at the beach Group dinner with Deb Tuesday: Check out of hotel midday. Head back to Orlando. Head home. People can hang out at my house while they wait for their flight, or stay in a hotel one more night if they are going to head back Wednesday. Of course, just going to S. Florida and checking into a beachside hotel might be a better idea. It would save the car trip. Or if Deb can come here we could stay on the beach in Daytona or Melbourne, have one theme park day, and have the rest of our activities beachside. We all have sun restrictions, though, so I'm not sure how attractive that many beach days would be. Alternately, I had another idea. We could rent cabins in the North GA mountains. They're not the highest mountains, but we could fit more people in a cabin and it would cost less per night. You could fly into Atlanta or Chattanooga. The downside is that we'd need a rental car for every four to six people. It's cooler and there is less direct sunlight, though. We could prepare our own food, and save money on meals, too. Comments??? Love to all, Carol
