Guest guest
no workout at all for me today.... im feeling a head cold coming on... ugh! ive been working on building up my immunity since having pneumonia in jan/feb, but i guess i havent done as good of a job as i thought :/ maybe it will just go away, but i rested today anyway. i drank some emergen-c today in my juice, i love that stuff. i did some video workouts last week: - the firm fat burning cardio toning - uses tubing. i enjoyed this workout but had to pause to arrange the tubing properly once in a while (around feet while doing rear leg lifts for example). it was nice to use tubing for a change, it has been a long time. instructor was tina smalley. - taebo the power within - ignition - in this video, billy decides that we have all been punching incorrectly since taebo came out in 1999! he now says that we should punch with our hands turned so our thumbs face up in order to work the core more. the cardio portion of the workout was good but there was no cooldown or stretch at the end - instead billy gives a big talk and i admit that i turned it off so i could move onto my next workout. - prevention walk off belly fat - ellen barrett and the belly routine on the same dvd - ellen is pleasant and puts enough variety into the walking moves to keep it from being boring. she also puts standing ab toning segments into the walking. the belly routine was good too but really, nothing on this dvd is challenging. good for an easy day. - gaiam cardio balance ball express - i really liked this workout and the instructor tanja djelvic (sp?). i had doms in my legs the next day but im not sure if it was from this workout or from hiking in deep snow with boots on. probably from the knee-deep snow but still this was a really nice workout. - tracey mallett lose the belly flab - core foundation - turns out this is a dull tutorial so i turned it off. - cosmopolitan power stretch - this is an oldie but a goodie vhs which i feel was ahead of its time. some good stuff in here. - tracy mallet lose the belly flab - bonus abs - seemed like an effective short ab routine, good mixture - amy bento abs & stretch #1 and #2 - basic athletic stretch sessions - turbo jam ab jam #1 - standing abs, lots of oblique work this week has been all functional workouts, no videos... i must get my act together tomorrow and get some done! sat - deli 5 hours, forgot to put on my pedometer, oh well sun - office work - it is tax season... ugh mon - housework - floors and walls - 4 hours - 4000 steps tues - yardwork 3 hours - 5600 steps wed - deli 4 hours - 9000 steps thu - rest - head cold :*carolyn.
