Guest guest
Hi Audrey and EveryOne, Yes, I know....there are a lot of things said about Kombucha in a lot of places online and off, that simply are not true. Since we can do nothing about what other people put on their sites about Kombucha the only thing we can do is to try our best to put out the truth here. Then, as always, it will be up to each individual to determine for themselves what to do. From the beginning, it has been the purpose of this list to provide accurate information and resources so that those wanting to know more about Kombucha and how to make it for themselves, would have a reliable place to find that information. The owners of this list tried the best they could to separate the facts from the fiction. It is an ongoing task as myths and lies are perpetuated about Kombucha in so many places all the time. In some cases it is unintentional and others deliberate. As far as using Organic Tea goes, I have used nothing but Certified Organic tea, and sugar to make my Kombucha since 1994. Never had mold...many other people use Organic tea and sugar and also don't get mold. Organic teas are not sprayed with chemicals pesticides and fertilizers so they are better for your health and the health of those who grow and process the tea, as well as for the land and water where they are grown. As far as the Glucuronic Acid is concerned it is still up for debate but Mike Roussin, using the most up to date equipment, didn't find any so chances are there isn't any. The body makes Glucuronic Acid anyway. So please learn all you can and research as much as you want but take it all with a " grain of salt " and then test it against your own inner truth and experience.
