Guest guest
Hello All, We have a 2yr old daughter recently described as " probably autistic " by our pediatrician. We have been suspecting this to be the case for the last 6-12 months. We are currently on waiting lists for full assessments at 2 major hospitals in the area. We also have just started and EI program. In the meantime, we have begun the GF/CF diet for her along with supplements of Omega 3, and DMG, and will be adding B6/Magnesium in the next week or so. We have noticed some real improvements with the diet changes and supplements already. We would like to add B12/Folinic to 's treatment but we need to work with a physician for getting a prescription. Do we go to our regular pediatrician for this or to a specialist? We'd like to try start as soon as possible (of course!). Can anyone recommend a doctor in the Philadelphia area or share experiences in working with your " typical " pediatrician? Thanks- , Jen and
