Guest guest
We are on Day 15 and the croupy cough is finally drying up. We are taking hot showers every night and I have used Benadryl (dye-free) at night. When she was really mucusy- I used an anti-histamine. We do have a rosy face but no rash yet. We are seeing great gains so far. She is seeking out communications, enjoying her siblings, and becomming more expressive. When reading in the Baker/Pangborn Autism book (pg 241), there was mention that when adenosine levels increase this could stall methionine metabolism-- which then results in inadequate methylation and deficient creatine formation in the brain, then deficiency of expressive speech. So if Valtrex brings down adenosine levels, then expressive speech increases? Is this right Stan? We are waiting with much anticipation the end of the " healing regression " to determine if the gains stay. I would like to re- introduce TD-DMPS sometime in the future. Is anyone doing both (Valtrex and chelation)? We are also using GSE (12 drops) twice a day for the yeast. This has worked really well for us. We mix the GSE in orange juice and it covers the taste very well. Blessings to you, > > My child is on day 12 of Valtrex. He has developed croup like cough, > which is more at night.
