Guest guest Posted November 4, 2006 Report Share Posted November 4, 2006 Hi all my son Caden was born with a liver disease we thought was Biliary Atreshia..about 4 weeks before his transplant we found out the reason he was getting sicker was because he infact had another disease called PFIC3. He had a successful transplant in April of this year and is not growing like a weed. I would be glad to help anyone I can with any information I have. I have spend quite some time education myself about the liver and how it works. I think the worst part of liver disease is the itching..Caden had the " itchies " really bad before his transplant and it was so painful to watch.
