I hope your knees will be okay!  I love running and totally get missing it.  I hate that I can't do it 4-5 days a week like some people can..hence, recumbent bike today @ the Sweat Shop :/

 

I think if I drop some more weight and get some $$ I want to try running again. I use to run 30 min 4 times a week prior to my heatlh issues.  I miss it.. these seem to help with knee function etc..

anyway.. the midfoot and soft knee strike would be betterplus I love the fast cadence.  Lance Armstrong changed cycling when he developed the fast cadence climb.. sort of the same thing..jhttp://www.rei.com/minimalist-running?cm_mmc=Email_com_gm-_-Running-_-032211-_-btn_learnRunning#lowerAnchor
