Guest guest Posted April 16, 2003 Report Share Posted April 16, 2003 Well, I have resisted exercise for months - I guess since last October when the hernia got so big I was in such discomfort. Then in November I had it fixed and used " recovering " as my excuse. Well, upon returning from vacation I went back to Curves. I actually " let " them weigh and measure me - I would never let them get near me before! Anyway, exercise WORKS! I have lost 5.8 pounds this past month after being on a plateau for 3 months. I have not changed my eating habits, just added the exercise. I lost 1.5 inches off my waist, .5 off my abdomen, 1.25 off my hips and 1 inch off my arms. I am AMAZED!
