wow....we have a lot in common Jim!

I was studying seriously to be an Oceanography Major. I was just about to go

off to Humbolt, when I met my hubby. Kinda put a kybosh in the whole future

plans.

I have a distinct fear of ANYTHING sharp, toothy, or otherwise threatening,

in the ocean...LOL! I still go in........but boy is it ever hard to do. I

have always wanted to scuba dive, but that fear is SO POWERFUL.

sigh.....maybe someday I will again pursue my dreams. Even if it is just a

hobby!

Anne/Jim,

One of my " after the weight is gone " adventure's would be to scuba

dive, at least once...I think I would worry about getting seasick

more than worrying about sharks...I plan on wearing a very bright

colored PLAID wetsuit, to enable the sharkies to realize I am not the

tasty morsel they may think....LOL, Donna

Donna, you WON'T get sea sick in the water. Once you are about 5 or so

feet down, it's not choppy. In fact, about 20 feet down and it can be a

hurricane on top and you won't know it. I say go for it: just wear your

best and brightest kilt, and carry the biggest dang cattle prod you can

find. :) Oh, and a shark cage, too. :)
