Guest guest
I have been basically Gluten free for several years now. Even though my doctor said that I only came up mildly Gluten intolerant on a test, she told me to avoid it. Once in awhile, I think " Oh I can eat this little bit of Wheat and I am sorry when I do." As long as I avoid Gluten my allergies seem to be way better and I am less reactive. The other thing that happens almost immediately when I eat a bunch of Wheat is that I not only develop Canker sores or ulcers in my mouth, but I also develop boils on my skin. I remember as a kid having lots of Canker sores and also getting boils. When I stopped eating Wheat, they quit happening. I love bread and baked goodies and sometimes the temptation is just too strong to resist as living Gluten free can become monotonous. Having Lyme has also intensified the Gluten sensitivity. I wish there was some kind of behavior modification program I could follow that would allow me to stop resisting the temptation.
