- a bit overwelmed but happy

Thank you, dear . All of this is extra-sweet...when I got

Genevieve, she was 14 months old, a beautiful baby with big brown eyes,

but not much smiling. The first couple weeks when I'd pick her up from

her crib in the morning, she would stiffen and not relax in my arms. I

kept lovin on her. One morning I went in and picked her up like usual,

and she was like melted butter in my arms...she relaxed, snoodled her

little face in the crook of my neck, and held me!!! TEARS!!!!!!!!!

She's been my affectionate little mush-bucket ever since! She has a

real gift for being genuinely affectionate, she's not a bit shy and

loves on my elderly relatives who need it so bad and soak it right up.

Part of the reason she choose July 12 for the wedding is because it

falls between my dear Auntie Pearl's birthday (July 11 - she went to

Heaven 7 years ago - Genny adored her) and Vince's birthday - July 15.

We have talked much about Vince over the years.

I know I'm excited as I have been jabbering everybody's ears off lately!

I knew I could come here and " whine " without any fear of criticism.

What a WONDERFUL gift that is!
