Guest guest
Hi everyone, A brief intro, and a question as my ped seems stumped.I am mostly a reader as I am to new to have much input to be helpful.I have 5 kids ,24 yr old ,possibly bipolar,13 yr old aspie,11 yr old hfa,7 yr old nt,and 1 yr old who is now being evaled for allergies, tummy problems. We have all been gfcf abot 2 mo now w/some infractions. All are given CLO multivitamin w/calcium.the 11 yr old recently went to a geneticist who suspects a Deletion??chromosone 22,apparently 11 yr old has VPI,and it was visable at examination. The 11 yr old and baby have skin pigmentation issues.now to the questions, any ideas greatly appreciated I am not sure which child but suspect 11 yr old did not flush well.I saw small black worms!and strings hanging in toilet and off feces.I took it to Dr office and they saidto bring in all the kids but would not tell me what they thought it was,nor are they sending it to a lab, just looked under microscope.I have tried to talk to this ped many times about parasites.diet ,etc and always get nowhere than a patronizing if it makes you feel better to try diet and vits kind of thing. What could this be?everyone except baby has been having less runny bms w/diet.baby was evaled because he is small ,still spits up and poops undigested food when he does eat which except for nursing is not much.Thebaby also is language delayed and has some ritualistic behavior which diminished some w/diet and extra polyvisol.because of holiday.I cannot get appt till tues, should I call and insist on labwork w/specimin?could this be dangerous? Also after reading post re:mercury I know what happened to my 11 yr old,she regressed at 15 mo ,at that time her eyes would cross, her fingers would twitch, and she would flick her tounge repeatedly, she also started screaming and giggling, from reading this was mercury poisoning, after all this time would it be better to do a slow chelation, possibly w/just supplements for now as she is in another regression? thank you so much! theresa

Guest guest
Hi Listmates, After much calling and pleading I am allowed to take specimins to hospital lab before Dr appt.I know I need to switch ped however after talking to other parents,it seems it would not improve much for my kids. The only Dan I can find near me,in Va Beach Va does not take insurance. We are in process of trying to move to an area w/more resources for our children medically and educationally anyway.I was told by the nurse if any of my kids got really ill before Tues to call the on call ped.I hope everyone has a lovely 4th!
