I am loving my new job, thank you God for leading me to this. Thank you all for praying for me. I believe that I will have an opportunity to impact on obese patients at my new job. I am already eyeballing one person for a referral! I have already seen another doc's patient who had bariatric surgery and had no clue that she was doing great in the weight loss department! I told her she was doing good and she said, " I am? No one ever told me what to expect or whether or not I was doing well. " Wow! I want to see her again and find out if she is having follow-up with her surgeon, and if not Why Not?!!! I am excited. We will be having lectures for the providers. They really are uneducated about bariatric surgery and the different types available. One of the doctors has met Dr.K and spoke warmly about how thoroughly he explained things. So, patients, know that your doctor is respected and highly thought of by a randomly selected PCP! LOL! There's more, but I don't want to write a book!
