Guest guest
I just used the #5 french tube with a client with low milk supply, and I LOVE it. It is cheap (around $1), and very easy to just slip in while baby is latched on. The mom was reluctant to use bottles, and the baby loved breastfeeding and had a great latch, there just wasn't enough milk there. I couldn't figure out the best way to clean it, so I just provided the mom with a periodontal syringe and told her to squirt hot soapy water through it and then cold clean water several times. This system is much easier to use, less overwhelming, easier to clean, and 15 times cheaper than a starter SNS. I hope the client finds it as great as I think it is! ---- Lynnette Hafken, MA, IBCLC Board Certified Lactation Consultant Nurslings Lactation Services http://www.nurslings.com
