Guest guest
Hi Judi, Ahh, the Tank Engine... I know him well...LOL! That's wonderful Ron plyed golf. I was quite the avid golfer year's ago and hope to hit the links one day soon. Thanks for you kind words. Yes, I have given some thought to retiring. Especially if they find something wrong with the spine. It's getting increasingly difficult to work. It's ironic because I never thought a " desk job " could be so painful at times. I have never been to the Milwaukee Zoo, but have been to Lincoln Park and Brookfield in Chicago. I am also a big fan of the cats and polar bears. Have a great Sunday Judi and thanks again. Love and hugs, Alan

Guest guest
Hi Judi, Wow, 45-50 dermatologists? That's amazing. I'll pray that something good comes from all the attention. That's great news about the derma in Muncie. Good luck with that. As you can probably glean from the " frequency " of my posts ;-), I have been extremely busy these past few months. My health has been pretty good overall, knock on wood. Still only doing the MTX injections once a week. I have been pretty lucky not catching anything from the kids. Now that my youngest is in Kindergarten it's hard to fend off all the germs...;-) Best of luck Judi. I will definitely be thinking and praying for you. Love, Alan > Good to see you posting, again, Alan! How's life treating you these > days? Guest guest
Hey Kathy, Glad to hear it. I did have a little bug last week and had to skip a dose. It's amazing because Wednesday is when I have my shot and I am just about out of energy today. Have you ever had to miss a dose and experience anything like that? Hope you are keeping warm. Love, Alan > hey alan, i'm surprised too being on mtx and haven't caught the viruses going > around. knock on huge piece of wood. kathy in il
Guest guest
Hi Carol!!! I am doing okay. Like you, life has kept me extremely busy as of late. It just seems like the days are running together now. Life needs to slow down a bit...;-) I read a few of your posts and think it's very cool what you are doing. Too bad you aren't selling man's stuff. I'm sure I would be a customer. and the boys are doing good. Both kids are in school and is in Scouts too. is taking him on a Scout overnight trip this Saturday. The high is going to be 42. Boy, she is brave...;-) I am so glad to hear that Debs is in good spirits. I am so sorry for everything that has happened to her. She really needs to catch a break here. Thanks for telling her I am thinking of her. How have you been? Have you been feeling better? I certainly hope so. Take care sweetie and thanks for writing me. Guest guest
At 10:28 AM 10/1/2003, you wrote: > hey alan, i'm surprised too being on mtx and haven't caught the viruses going >around. knock on huge piece of wood. kathy in il '''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' Well I'm on MTX and caught one apparently. My daughter, and now her husband, had it and were " good enough " to come over a couple weeks ago and share. Celine finally told both of them the other day to PLEASE not come over when sick since I have a compromised immune system, etc. Coincidentally, Celine now has it, too. She had a sore throat the day before yesterday and yesterday she feels sick and has a low temp. Want to also mention that my new son-in-law, Tim, is in the reserves and was scheduled to ship out, ultimately to Iraq, Oct. 4. Surprise, surprise -- he got a call yesterday and is leaving TODAY! He's expected to be gone for a total of 18 months. I guess, as they say, the honeymoon is over, literally! Anyway, when we were up in Chicago with the Mom ordeal, that Friday night I had a bit of a sore throat starting but only on the left side. The next couple days were pretty hectic but I did seem to be extra sensitive to an overly warm room as I would start sweating for " no reason " in certain warm locations. A couple times I checked my blood sugar just to make sure, but it was ok. Last Tuesday or Wednesday I actually felt my left ear beginning to fill up with fluid to the point where it was completely plugged. Today it STILL is. The funny thing, through all this I haven't really felt all that sick, just like I have a slight cold but only/mainly on the left side of my head! After a week now I'm tempted to call my GP but I'm thinking that by the time I can get in to see him it will have cleared up. Confused . . .
