Guest guest
Hi all, Really need pain relief for ds as he is in pain with teething and this is causing more seizures. He is getting lots of clusters of grimacing and spasms. So far this week we've had to administer midazalom on Mon and Thur to stop the clusters of seizures but the next day he starts all over again.....with tears rolling down his face. We've tried ibuprofen (nurofen) but this doesn't seem to control his pain. I know that paracetamol is not good for our kids but I've had to give it a couple of times and it stops the pain and the clusters of seizures. What else can I give or do? I don't know how long it will take for the tooth to come through and would want to avoid relying on emergency AED's if I can. One of his carers suggested to rub " Orajel " into his gums, it contains benzocaine, does anyone know if this is not good to use. emily
