Guest guest
Hi Carie, There certainly is no negative effect on the liver from quickly stopping, but we have seen things like cold sores pop up on a minority of children who stopped when the parents didn't believe there was anything was improving. In your unique case, if that was my child I would take a week to slowly throttle back the dose down to zero. If you notice changes, let us know. - Stan > > > Is there any harm in just abruptly stopping valtrex?
