Hi Carie,

There certainly is no negative effect on the liver from quickly stopping, but we

have seen

things like cold sores pop up on a minority of children who stopped when the

parents

didn't believe there was anything was improving.

In your unique case, if that was my child I would take a week to slowly throttle

back the

dose down to zero. If you notice changes, let us know.
