Is bartonella a bacteria or virus?

Should we get rid of or treat our cats? If yes, is there a treatment for cats?

My daughter shed a lot of virus' doing the high dose antiviral protocol with virastop.

She also got much worse and almost lost her vision while on the SCD diet which is supposed to kill off bacteria. She was allergic to most of the foods on that diet, and then got chicken pox with undiagnosed uveitis (eye disease) which is how she almost lost her vision, but it all happened while on the SCD diet.

She has severe food allergies.

I think we might all have lymes, or bartonella, or some of these things. Are there tests for these things? We think our whole family might have bartonella for sure.
