Guest guest
Yes we are casein free and dye free almost 100% of the time. I didn't read a book, but found some websites. There is a book called Natural Medicine Guide for Autism (I think that's the title) that does go into the GF/CF diets. For us, we targeted casein since Zach was drinking so much dairy-about 30-40 oz a day as a nearly 4 year old, and a friend tried it with much success with her son. We figured, couldn't hurt and it may help. it definitely helps! The website that I thought was helpful was http://www.talkaboutcuringautism.org and the book is http://www.amazon.com/Natural-Medicine-Autism-Healthy-Guides/dp/1571742883 But the book is about more than just Gf/CF. Fiengold Diet may also be useful, but I do think that is targeted mostly to ADHD. > > , > I don't know if you all get tired of me talking...lol - but what you just > said rang a bell with me - Wesley at certain times - has glowing cheeks and > chin - and we can't ever figure it out - my mother in law figures that he > has a skin rash and " oh lord lets go to the doctor " but it isn't all the > time - and it is normally after we feed him - so you are on a " casein and > dye free " diet? Is there a book out there that talks about that? > >
