He got diaper rash so bad that it was actually bleeding.(I made sure it wasn't internal by checking the stool.) It had me kind of worried until I started thinking that whatever was in those stools had been in his body. No wonder the poor guy has had so much trouble talking etc. His rash is also more concentrated into circles now and has moved to his lower torso and legs. He also had two little dots that looked like chicken pox on his legs. He went through about a two hour period yesterday where his face was flushed with the rash and then it went very pale. He was also hot then cold. His feet are also cracked and sometimes bleeding between his toes. The rash is also on one toe. On a happier note- was copying new sounds and fed a baby doll at speech today. He seems very happy- inspite of everything. Has anyone else seen extreme diaper rash? Any treatment ideas?
