Guest guest
Oh, oh, oh, I wanna do it. I wanna do it. Marilyn, I know you get to drink fresh milk every day all day long. What about us folks who would have to get a 55 gallon drum every week? I mean two 5 gal buckets full each week. Do you think the freshness of the milk matters? Does the milk cure/diet require 5-6 quarts a day? Or is less ok? I'm starting to think seriously about it, now. Wow. I wonder if I could get 10 gals a week. I bet I could if I really wanted to. OK, I'm ready...but I've got to go, errands and such. Work? well, maybe next year. I can't seem to find the time for that. ~Tonio who's lost his mind, broken his heart and lives in Vermont. No wonder... I started a mostly milk diet on August 26 and today ismy 28th day. I was inspired by Jerome's posts and thechapter in The Untold Story of Milk called the Historyof the Milk Cure. It is so easy. So satisfying. Nocravings for anything else and I have tons moreenergy. I am starting to get lots of compliments on mycomplexion.I am wondering how many people plan on going on justmilk in the near future. One thing I have noticed about two weeks into the milkdiet. I get a feeling of warmth after I have a glassof milk sometimes. It is very pleasant. I've beentaking my temperature lately and I'll be 98.6 duringthese times. For those up on body temperature, foryour information, my setpoint is 97.7 and before thismilk diet I could not get up to 98.6 during the day nomatter how hot it gets and how warmly I dress. Well, Itake that back, if I sit in a hot car, I can get tothat temperature, but I will quickly cool down as soonas I get out. Two tablespoons of coconut oil all atone time will sometimes make my temp go up to normal.I was 98.6 most of the day yesterday. I function somuch better at that temperature. No wonder people havemore energy on the milk diet. Maybe it is raisingtheir otherwise low temperature.Marilyn from Fayette====="The more you are away from nature the more there is cause for illness and you will automatically support global corporations.". --- HRM from Sungazing article

Which is not all bad because I am also satisfied on that amount. I gained weight on six quarts/day so I stopped drinking it with wreckless abandon real soon. I also enjoy extra cream every day. I drink it straight. Cream is my favorite beverage by far and away. This has been so easy when my share of the milk from our cow is 25 gallons/week. > I'm starting to think seriously about it, now. Consider taking a vacation at my house for the next month or so, since you don't work and all. Just you drinking our extra milk would make you an easy keeper. I would expect you to help in the garden, however. ;^) > > ~Tonio > who's lost his mind, broken his heart and lives in > Vermont. No wonder... Guest guest
Marilyn, You have me intrigued with the milk diet. Were the first few days hard for you to get started? I have started a couple of days just drinking milk for breakfast and lunch, but get very hungry. I guess I am also concerned about possible weight gain with so much milk fat. Regardless, I think I am ready to give it a go. Guest guest
, At 160 calories per 8oz serving, half a gallon a day is only abut 1500 calories, with 64 grams of protein and and equal amount of fat. I am drinking a half gallon a day, and cutting out breakfast and snacks. Bill Dunlap --- Emens wrote: > Marilyn, > You have me intrigued with the milk diet. Guest guest
Hi Marilyn, I'm packing my bags. I bet my three wheeled rusty pick-up could make it to Ohio. Last chance to reconsider. I think I'd happily work in a totally fresh environment for all the milk I can drink. I too am a cream-aholic. Do you eat any unheating honey with your milk? When I read of the Indian rejuvenation diet over 20 years ago, it consisted of raw milk, honey and a few unnamed herbs. Old men would go into a cave or a sealed hut for a couple of months. Someone would bring the milk to them every day and leave it outside their door. Inside alone sealed away from the world, meditating I suppose. They would emerge 2 or so months later looking like they had shed 40 years, rejuvenated in every way. I've always been fascinated and intrigued by that story. I don't think I'd really want to shed 40 years but I'll settle for 30. New scenery for a month sounds amazing. A true retreat. Wow. I haven't been anywhere in six years. You don't know what you are offering. Maybe you do. Tonio sitting in awe, wondering... Hi Tonio,--- tonio epstein wrote:> Oh, oh, oh, I wanna do it. I wanna do it. Guest guest
> > I am wondering how many people plan on going on just > milk in the near future. I've been drinking way more of it lately for much the same reasons you describe, Marilyn. I'm told that my body is warmer lately... I was a vegetarian for 12 years and I was cold a lot. I wonder what changes I will see when it comes to cold feet? Additionally, I developed sinusitis a few days ago, from contact with a client who has it frequently. The first time it happened, I was ill and in discomfort for about a week or so. This time, it began Sunday and has disappeared today. I credit the milk and the chicken and fish broths I've been consuming for this timely recovery. I'm liking this better and better all the time, this amazing milk. Thank heavens I found it! ~Joe
