I just tried the OWH and they no longer have any - I am trying to contact the AAP to see if they do - it was a partnership. It was great, I used it when I was interning to give a few doctor presentations - it is at their level and has great pictures. I called them but the person in charge was out. I left her a message. If you have any ideas where I can get a copy please let me know. Guest guest Posted March 8, 2006 Report Share Posted March 8, 2006 OK I like the AAP slides. I did add some of my own breastfeeding pictures in a few places (I am also a professional photographer). The woman at the school wants a slide on mastitis which I did not see. I will go through the slides again. If you really do have a moment where do you think I should add this slide? Look how long it took us to become proficient. Know when to recognize that something isn't right and refer out. Basically, what is normal and what is not. Guest guest Posted March 8, 2006 Report Share Posted March 8, 2006 I agree I have heard worse things from doctors - they try but if they are not up on lactation they miss - My friend Jay Gordon MD says that they are dinosaurs !!!! LOL Just give them our numbers thats all - they are either afraid of us - or think we may force moms to nurse when they don't want to - I don't think they will come near us if they don't want to nurse !?!?
