Guest guest Posted July 17, 2006 Report Share Posted July 17, 2006 HELP! got my 2 newest brews with round white spot growths growing on surface of the new forming scobie. not hairy yet. don't look like yeasty growths as v white. harvested 1 today, tasted ok. kept the scobie in own juice...was going to see if became hairy, but it folded up and dowsed itself in its own liquid so I guess won't go hairy yet even if wants to. Any thoughts? ps, I re-used the clean teatowels that I used to cover the brews....from now will use clean ones each time. very hot here in s wales...about 30 degrees....v hot for here Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
