Guest guest
Hi, I'm relatively new to this board, yet I've gleaned some very good information. I really appreciate everybody sharing their experiences. I am curious, though, about what dosages of Virastop and OLE would be appropriate for a 40 pound five-year old? I have read pretty much everything in the files and many of the posts. I see what the appropriate dosage for Valtrex will be, but I can't seem to figure out what dose to give when administering Virastop and OLE. Please let me know if I am incorrect in my assumption that it is appropriate to use all three at once (in order to cover the spectrum of viruses, right)? Any information and clarification will be greatly appreciated! Nina :-)
Guest guest
Check out www.enzymestuff.com and see what you can find about the Virastop there. (the website owner) got some parents together and ran some trials. The protocol is there. Also consider joining enzymesandautism yahoo group. There is a lot of discussion about Virastop and OLE there. As for doses of OLE, it really depends on your child. I have my son on 1000 mgs/day (divided into three doses) but from what I can tell, that might be high for others. I know one mom whose kid started running fevers like crazy and she was just giving 125 mgs/day. So, start slow and work up. I would not add all three at once. You would not know what to attribute to what, and that might be too taxing to your little one's system. Others might disagree and, if they do, I hope they chime in.
