I would suggest that anyone who is having trouble with acronyms use

one of the online instant messaging dictionaries as a first

source. One fairly good source is netlingo

http://www.netlingo.com/

You can type in the acronym in the search function or click on a

letter to see all the acronyms and special language that is in

current use.

For the medical ones such as UTI, try an online medical resource

such as http://www.webmd.com/

One problem with trying to create a dictionary for the group is that

there are so many acronyms. Organizing them in a way that would be

useful to everyone would be difficult without being able to make

webpages and make it searchable. Also, acronym use, like anything

with the internet, is an ever changing target. Keeping the list up

to date would be a full time job.

IMHO,

IMHO--in my humble opinion
