We find apple juice Ks well - we just take K'd apple juice out of the jar, drain yeast out and wash the jar, then replace the Kombuchaed juice - every few days. I am interested to see whether the culture will indeed drop over dead, from doing juice. So far we have no problem, though I do keep them in tea and sugar when not working and plan to get some organic sugar.
