Guest guest Posted September 20, 2004 Report Share Posted September 20, 2004 Carpaccio - Serves 4 Ingredients 14oz. Fillet steak. 1 clove. Garlic 3. Lemons 1/4 pint. Olive Oil Method method: 1. Put the beef in the freezer for half a hour to make it firm. 2. Cut slices as thin as you can. Place between two sheets of clingfilm and roll with a rolling pin until it is very thin. 3. Arange slices on a serving plate. 4. Juice the lemon and chop the garlic finely. Add to the oil with a pinch of salt and pepper. 5. Pour the dressing over the meat. Garnish with sprigs of parsley and shavings of parmasan Looking for a RECOMMENDED local place (NE Oklahoma) to purchase organic beef. Like I said, I just want an organic meat source nearby...looks like I may have to grow my own. Whats new. Im really enjoying this group though. You all inspire me - lol. God bless!
