Dear Members,

I'm unhappy on this Easter Monday (a bank holiday in France) to discover so

early in the morning that Yahoo! has changed again all the settings of their

groups.

As you have certainly noted, now the new messages we send to our group are

preceded with this stupid and enormous mention : " [sPAM DETECT] which is nearly

the only part of the messages headers that we can read in our in-box ! This is

not acceptable.

I have tried everything possible in the " management area " (for moderators) of

our group to turn off this stupid function, in vain :-(

So, I have writen to Yahoo and am awaiting for their answer. I' ll let you know

what will be the result.

Have a nice day though, and sorry for this unvoluntary drawbak!

Please find below the copy of my message to Yahoo!:

---

Please, would you IMMEDIATELY turn off this " SPAM-DETECT " mention which appears

in the header of every message sent to my group Medical_Translation. It's so

huge and large that our members can't see the true header of the messages in

their in-boxes. Please note that our group is a private one for PROFESSIONALS

only (physicians, scientists and translators), that we never send spams to our

group or anyother entity, and finally that it is absolutely normal that names of

drugs or vitamins, or medical apparatus appear in our messages, because THIS IS

OUR JOB.

If you can't turn off this ridiculous function, we'll consider moving our group

somewhere else.

Thank you for your understanding and quick action.

Sincerely

The Moderator of M_T
