Thank you so much for the information, I have been thinking about Medicaid.

I have gone to their web site but have not sent any forms in yet.

How does hospice work? Do they go through medicare/Medicaid or just one?

Do they help with wipes, depends and other supplies?

Sorry for all the questions but it is just good to talk to someone even if

it is via the Internet.

Just contact you local Hospice. They will come do a case study and tell you what

you qualify for. We get wipes, depends, some meds, chairs, beds, nurses and

bathing 3 days a week. We still get that in the nursing home and it is an extra

set of eyes for us too.

It really helped me to go to a work shop at the Alzheimers Association for

Hospice. I think the hospital may have workshops too.

The best one is when Hospice comes out to discuss what is available. If you

call them they will come and " evaluate " .

I understood Mom could go off and come back on Hopice. That was 3 times. It is

Medicare funded.
