Guest guest
I would avoid the vaccine and carry vitamin A with me, its the standard treatment in measles cases JMHO Mandi x Hi all, I am going to an African country in less than a month's time. My two year old (who is NT) has not had the MMR and although I feel relatively safe for her in our small town, I am concerned about our destination as Measles is a bigger problem there than it is here and also the health system there is less than adequate (unless you have hundreds of US dollars for private treatment). I know this is a controversial subject, but I could really do with some advise. Is there perhaps a Vaccination organisation that would be helpful? Also, is the single Measles vaccination just as dangerous as the MMR? Thanks.
Guest guest
Hi BusiHave you thought of contacting Helios and getting the homeopathic measles nosode? speak to them and see what they recommend.. Also contact Blue Turtle.. they do vaccine alternatives and work alot in Africa.. they may have a measles homeopathic.. they have things for denge and malaria and a few others.. we have used before.. very good. If you are going to Zim.. I can give you details off line of the Zim based homeopath we use.. in case you need back up whilst over there.Best Wishes Tracey Hi all,I am going to an African country in less than a month's time. Guest guest
I would rather risk Measles than autism. I understand that you're afraid though and I think and Tracey give good advice. Whatever you decide to do, don't give the 3 in 1 MMR!!! It's very poorly tested and plenty of us on this can tell you our kids regressed after getting it. Sara x (and there are a couple of kids on here who regressed after a single measles shot)

Guest guest
Both my kids have had measles. Was like flu but had to keep curtains shut for a couple of weeks just in case.
