Guest guest
Anybody on copaxone? Any difference in number of relapses? That would be difficult to determine for me - I'm Primary Progressive. I'm just depending on the evidence of the 6 year study they did, and hoping I will be amongst the 72% who benefit from it. Carol
Guest guest
Why go on a medicine? I've yet to hear anyone say it helps them! It's not something you can obviously see help from very soon. It doesn't help symptoms, because it slows the progression. So, your symptoms wouldn't improve - they'd just get worse at a slower rate. However, in the study they did a year ago, on people who'd been on it for 6 years, about 15-20% of the people had actual improvement in symptoms. So, they now believe that the drug has a snowball effect - the longer you're on it, the more good it does. Carol

Guest guest
If you did a trial with silver basins and chicken heads, 20% of the people would report improvemenmt in symptoms. Look at Myloral. Sounds like bovine digestive matter to me! Kanjane Well, then why didn't they in the original trials on Copaxone?

Guest guest
You've been on it a while...has it helped? Copaxone I have been on Copaxone since June of 2000...this is my second round of copaxone. In 1998 I was on Copaxone for 4 months and stoped it because of the pain from the medication. The Copaxone is still hurting once it hits either my fat or the muscle, sometimes I am so sore at the injection site that I cant touch it for a day or so. I have just started using Emula cream on the injuection site to see if it will help at all as Benadryl topical and oral did nothing nor the IBU 800mg. I ice the spot 10min before and 20min after. I have a feeling that it is just going to hurt no matter what I do...sure cant wait for the oral to come out onto the market... Debby .
